Abstract :
This paper is concerned with the controller design for networked control systems (NCSs). We employ a model of the NCSs taking into consideration the network-induced delay and the data packet dropout at the same time. On the basis of the given model, a controller design method is proposed by using the delay-dependent approach. An appropriate Lyapunov functional candidate is proposed to lead to the criteria in this paper by combining an improved free-weighting matrix method. The feedback gain of a memoryless controller and the maximum allowable value of the network-induced delay can be derived by solving a set of linear matrix inequalities (LMIs). A numerical example is given to illustrate the effectiveness of our method.
