Abstract :
In this study, vehicle stability control system is studied by using linear two degrees of freedom vehicle model. Vehicle stability control strategy is based on the direct yaw moment control that adopts the fuzzy PI controller. Compared with conventional PI control, the fuzzy PI control can regulate the proportional and integral parameters and improve the responds of system. The direct yaw moment is distributed to the desired controlled wheel as target braking pressure through differential braking strategy. Various computer simulation results show the vehicle stability control system using fuzzy PI control can improve the handling and stability of vehicle on low friction road significantly.
