Abstract
Mine water emission is an important factor of influencing on mine safety. The grey system model needn´t a amount of calculation and computing time, so it is suitable for on-line real-time forecasting and medium-term forecasts. Using the grey model of disaster prediction can accurately predict the disaster time of the water emission. With help of Matlab7.0, the GM (1,1) prediction procedures is presented. A prediction example can be seen that using the grey prediction model can obtain perfect forecasting results.
