Abstract
Different types of linear phase crystal filters are reviewed. The ways in which they can improve, control, and correct phase linearity so that they obtain a group delay adapted to the needs of modern electronics is discussed. Theoretical possibilities and practical limitations afforded by different polynomial or elliptical filters are discussed as well as the corrections which can be made by equalizers. Phase noise measurements taken from different types of filters while undergoing vibrations are presented
