Abstract :
Summary form only given. We report first results on the statistics of the four-wave mixing (FWM) penalties in nonuniform fiber links, obtained by means of Monte Carlo simulations. Penalties were calculated by means of a new tool based on analytic solution of coupled-mode equations.
