Abstract :
This paper introduces the aviation engine endoscope detection system, applying the image segmentation technique for processing the endoscope pictures, presenting a novel fuzzy connectedness image segmentation algorithm, achieving the separation of the effective area and background region in images; Using the method of thinning can access to the characteristics information of the engine damage, integrating expert system assessment establish the damage diagnosis system. The results show that the algorithm can control the noise better and split into effective area accurately, with a strong practical value.
