Abstract
The active integrated antenna (ATA) provides a new paradigm for modern microwave and millimeter-wave system designs where compactness, light weight, low cost and multiple functionality are strongly required. This paper reviews some of the recent work in this area which has been carried out by the authors´ research group at UCLA
