Abstract :
The digital signal processing method for adaptive line enhancement (ALE) with wavelet multi-resolution analysis algorithm (MALLAT) can extract the characteristic signal of the shaft-rate modulated electric field from the environment noise. The method analyzes the signal and noise into different frequency range with wavelet analysis, and the adaptive filter´s orders would be shortened. So it improves the speed of convergence and the performance of system. Using this method, the capability of measurement on the shaft-rate modulated electric field of a ship can be improved. Experimental and practical results show that the method is effective.
