The LINK Broadcast Technology Programme

A new LINK Programme on Broadcast Technology was launched in 1997. The programme, jointly funded by the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) has been set up to enhance precompetitive collaboration between industry and academia in advanced broadcast technologies. The government is committing £5 million to the programme in the first instance, and further funds may be made available once initial results from the programme have been assessed.
