  • Abstract
    The spatial information extraction of layout space is an essential issue to be solved firstly for automating design of electrical wiring harnesses and pipes in complex product. According to the shape of layout space and the design requirements of layout routing, two mesh division methods and how to describe layout space are analyzed. Then, in consideration of existing hardware facility and layout space´s complex situation, two kinds of solutions of environmental information extraction which are global scanning and regional unit scanning are proposed to meet project practicability of mesh method describing layout space. The case illustrates the solution´s feasibility and effectiveness.
