Abstract :
The 3 mm antenna is similar to the general microwave antenna in principle, but distinguished from the decimeter and centimeter antenna in design and manufacturing. First of all, very high machining accuracy requires careful scheme selection and designing with detailed error analysis, so that such an antenna type, with relatively lower requirement for machining and assembly accuracy, and with easy adjustment structure, is considered. Meanwhile, the machining accuracy of antenna parts must be assigned reasonably to reduce the number of high accuracy parts and the range of high accuracy requirements. Suitable selection of antenna and feed type, careful analysis of tolerance and reasonable distribution of machining tolerance are key factors for the success of this millimeter-wave antenna
