Abstract :
A simplex algorithm be used to calculate the near-field power densities of aperture antennas is described in this paper. For this algorithm, consider that an aperture can be divided into a number of Huygens´ elements. The radiation field of the aperture is the sum of these elements. To examine the accuracy of the algorithm, some measurements of the near-field have been performed in a test site using several aperture antennas. The calculation is compared with measurements, and both are in agreement
