Abstract :
In this paper, a novel Fuzzy-GIS model, based on Delaunay Triangulation, has been proposed to forecast future facility locations for various community services. Given a set of facility locations in a locality, the technique will forecast the best feasible place for the introduction of new facility centers based on various attribute values. The Decision Support System of the proposed model is based on Delaunay Triangulation and Fuzzy implication technique to forecast the location and level of need depending upon the distance of the suggestion point from the nearest facility locations. A Voronoi based model has also been incorporated to facilitate the decision making process.
