Abstract
To enable linear impairment compensation and increase OSNR tolerance, a digital coherent receiver incorporating symbol-rate blind equalization and maximum-likelihood sequence detection is proposed and experimentally verified at 43Gbit/s for dual-polarization quadrature duobinary systems.
