Abstract :
Induction motor drives without speed sensor have developed in these years. This paper presents flux position estimation of closed slot induction machines by using three phase triangular carrier waves. The proposed method is applicable to the sensor-less vector control of mass-produced closed slot induction machines at zero and low frequency. Experiments demonstrate sensor-less closed slot induction motor drives at zero frequency.
