Abstract
A general model for the consumption of pressurized air in a pneumatic system is described. This deterministic model is valid for different types of consumption: transitory, periodic, and continuous. It also copes with pressure-dependent consumption in different network topologies. When applied to a realistic simulated case, the method demonstrates its ability to estimate air consumption.<>
