Abstract :
The authors have derived a hybrid method by combining the method of moments of (MoM) with the PO approximation. This method has been applied to cavity backed spiral antennas where the axial ratio of the polarisation ellipse has been optimised. It has been shown that reductions of computation time and memory requirements are possible compared to the conventional MoM
