Abstract :
Transmission-line modelling (TLM) is used to simulate the effects of apertures on the internal behaviour of a resonant cavity. TLM is free from the limitations imposed on some other methods of analysis and is thus a generally applicable analysis and design tool. The main strengths of TLM in this class of applications are noted and comparisons are presented with experimental results to validate this approach
