Abstract
Whittaker reconstruction is an effective tool for interpolation of band limited data. Whittaker (1915) originally introduced the interpolation formula termed the cardinal functions as the function that represents a set of equispaced samples but has no periodic components of period less than twice the sample spacing. The method is a useful tool in the analysis and design of multiple beam reflector antenna systems. A good description of the method has been given by Bucci et al. (1980). The authors discuss some problems encountered with the method and their solution
