Abstract
Full-wave analysis of traveling-wave electrodes with finite thickness and conductivity is presented by using method of lines combined with impedance boundary conditions (IBCs). The anisotropy of the substrate is also taken into account. Numerical computations show our results agree well with published data. For the purpose of design, the genetic algorithm (GA) is used. Successful design of traveling-wave electrodes satisfying the given constraints verifies the efficiency of our program
