A practical approach to the use, siting and setting-up of distribution equipment and its protection

The purpose of this paper is to demonstrate that certain specialist technical subjects, in this case distribution protection, can be successfully taught to modestly qualified staff who often have only a limited understanding of networks and protection. The appropriate technical knowledge required to complement their practical know-how is presented in a comprehensive but straight forward manner.
