Abstract :
A high temperature superconducting narrow bandpass microwave filter was designed, fabricated and tested, that is a part of a receiver´s front-end with high sensitivity. The five-pole filter was configured by quarter wave-length parallel-coupled microstrip sections. The device was made using 15 mm×7 mm×0.5 mm LaAlO3 wafers coated with epitaxial thin film YBa2Cu3O7-δ by magnetron sputtering and laser-ablation methods. A 200 MHz passband in 9.74 GHz with 0.6 dB insertion loss in band was reported. Some coincidences and differences with the design were described and discussed
