Abstract
Flux levels can be easily adjusted using field orientation, but this considerably reduces response times. The flux response is increased by using an estimate of the flux generated by an open loop observer in a flux control. Computer simulations are made to verify improvements made in the flux response and torque responses. The effect of current limitations along with errors in estimation in parameters of the observer are investigated using these simulations.<>
