Abstract :
This paper provides an overview of grid connection demonstration projects of the new energy and industrial technology development organization (NEDO). One of the important objectives of NEDO´s recent R&D is solving problems that arise when distributed and renewable resources are connected to power grids. The author introduces national grid connection projects, especially micro-grid projects, promoted by NEDO.
