  • Abstract
    An improved linewidth-tolerant two-stage feed-forward carrier phase recovery algorithm is proposed for high-order coherent modulation formats. Experimentally we show that the proposed new algorithm can reduce the required compute power by more than a factor of two for square 36QAM.
