Computer-aided distribution network maintenance, rehabilitation and replacement planning

The authors describe computer-based tools under development in Norway for MV/LV distribution network maintenance, rehabilitation and replacement planning. An overview is given of both the overall planning system and the corresponding system modules and tools. The authors focus on two different kinds of inspection data acquisition tools and a network information system, NETBAS with application modules for network analyses and maintenance management.
