Research on the knowledge spillovers

Innovation and knowledge spillover are the key words of new economic growth theory; the economic growth of the world depends more and more on the creation, diffusion and application of knowledge. Therefore, for the current situation, knowledge spillovers have played the positive role in the development of industry and national economy, and become a research topic which will contribute to make the strategies for coordinated development of both industrial and regional economy. On the basis of theoretical analysis and empirical study, this paper analyses the process of knowledge spillovers and the relation of citations and knowledge spillovers, and puts forward policy suggestions of promoting the positive effects of knowledge spillovers on regional economic and industrial development.
