Abstract :
Demand by EDF customers has evolved considerably: as a result of the development of electric heating, power requirements are closely linked to the season and peaks occur during cold weather. These are therefore concentrated over a small number of winter days not known in advance. In order to adapt to this situation, the EDF is considering real time tariff options. Thus, in the residential sector, an option based on the splitting up of the year in real time is planned. This new option of the blue tariff, intended for customers who need less than 36 kVA, is called `BLUE, WHITE, RED´; it includes 3 kinds of random days. Each day is divided into 2 fixed periods. This option is particularly interesting for customers who agree to reduce their electricity consumption in high-price periods. This new tariff option is currently being tested in 7 EDF GDF SERVICES centres and concerns around 800 customers
