Abstract
As far as the common signals conditioining circuit shortcomings are concerned, this paper proposes a new design approach to intelligent acquisition module for differential transformer position sensor. This method analyzes the characteristics of differential displacement sensor, and makes full use of current Cortex-M3 micro controller core´s computing power. A notable feature is that the acquisition hardware module will complete the original features mostly by software to simplify the peripheral equipments. Experimental results indicate that the algorithm can not only eliminate the effect from the amplitude of excitation signal stability and temperature changes, but also can range in full scale for better linearity.
