Abstract
Quantitative Autoradiography is based in the analysis of specific regions of interest to determine the absolute level of ligand uptake. This process is conventionally undertaken manually. By contrast, we describe a method to semi-automatically register a brain atlas with a corresponding autoradiogram. This is based on an affine registration, followed by landmark correspondence and the application of several different interpolators. Initial results suggest that the radial basis function interpolator provides the best overall performance, compared to the inverse distance weighted interpolator.
