Abstract :
Digital PreDistortion (DPD) is a well-known method to reduce nonlinear distortion in RF power amplifiers. We present a study on the performance of this linearization technique using non-stationary windowed training sequences. In a Long Term Evolution uplink transmission, the modulation schemes are adaptive. Thus, the DPD behavior may change decreasing its linearity performance. This effect can be reduced using a suitable training signal, observing improvements in adjacent channel leakage ratio.
