Abstract :
In this research, Point-cloud diagrams can be obtained by using 3D body scanner and then characteristic positions of the body (such as waist, abdomen and buttocks) can be confirmed. Then height of characteristic positions can be measured from diagrams by the software of Image-ware. The correlation relationship between height of characteristic positions and height can be analyzed by the software SPSS16.0. The regression relationship between the two heights can be analyzed by SPSS so as to obtain the regulation of height of characteristic positions. Compared the height obtained by simulation with which got by scanning and photo-measurement so as to verify its correction, and then to provide foundation for studying characteristics of human body sharp and to ensure some rules to the establishment of automatic generation of 3D human body prototype.
