Abstract
A specific implantation of a high-resolution method (derived from MUSIC) into a global passive sonar receiver is proposed, and the complexity of the various parts of the receiver chain is detailed in terms of requirements (computation, dataflow, memory, etc.). It is shown that the specific part of the high-resolution method is not the more complex step of the proposed sonar receiver. This proof will be derived using a realistic case involving a linear array and a passive broadband system
