Abstract
Different types of transistorized generators are presented for induction heating applications. After discussing the advantages and disadvantages of the series or parallel compensation of the heating coil, generators with both types of compensation are presented. Depending on the working frequency, BJTs, IGBTs, and MOSFETs are used for the implementation of the inverter switches.<>
