Abstract :
This paper proposes a new swarm dynamic scheduling method for a semiconductor assembly production line, which is approximately treated as a job shop problem. In this approach, a heuristic swarm stochastic optimization technology- particle swarm optimizer is adopted to find a near optimal operation sequence and schedule strategy based on the criterion of minimal total makespan (TMS) in its admissible sequence space; in which, integrating discrete dynamic programming method is integrated for the usage of particle fitness evaluation. Preliminary numerical example is studied to illustrate the swarm dynamic scheduling approach.
