Abstract
One of the most important and root basic of communication technology is the antenna parameter, called the beam area or the beam solid angle. Since communications can be related in every way to light and the Maxwell equations, it is very apparent that string theory with its concepts of D-branes and quantum oscillators can help in the understanding the antenna parameter at a quantum level. This paper is based on this very aspect of string theory, and proceeds to bring out a relation of the beam area in terms of string parameters.
