Abstract
We are continuing investigation of dielectric coated personal communication systems (PCS) antennas, presented a pear-shaped antenna with optimal geometric size and shape to provide desirable electric and radiation characteristics; sophisticated user-friendly program package for simulation and visualization of dielectric coated antennas with required parameters, investigated the directed antenna radiation and conducted necessary measurements using network analyzer and anechoic chamber provided with equipment for measurement of antenna patterns. The Method of Auxiliary Sources (MAS) is used for obtaining accurate results at low computational costs. Some numerical and experimental results are presented.
