Abstract
Based on the properties of conventional cyclic water gathering process, the key question of energy saving was attained. A novel cyclic water gathering process was introduced according to the thermal short circuiting theory of borehole heat exchanger in the ground. Energy conservation calculation model was proposed. And the conservation calculations of system were studied using model. The results show that the system energy and water flux in the novel cyclic water gathering process were less than conventional one with the same conditions, and with the oil arrival temperature decreasing, the cyclic process energy was 20% less than conventional one.
