Abstract :
The mathematical modeling of three-dimensional electromagnetic fields excited by a harmonic current in a circular loop is a theoretical basis for the creation of new mineral prospecting technologies. For such problems solving, the technique of finite-element modeling, based on axisymmetrical field part selection, is offered. The developed technique was applied to the solution of logging and aerial prospecting problems. An example is given of field properties calculation in the problem of profiling above a vertical three-dimensional high-resistance object
