Abstract
Computer modeling of the dynamics for a two-dimensional system of particles on the basis of a numerical solution of the Newton equations is presented. Model parameters are established, at which the system of particles is in the condition of a firm body, liquid or gas. Particular attention is paid to the behaviour of Si adatoms on a W (110) surface
