Abstract
Node voltage is affected by changing loads. The active power-voltage curve and reactive power-voltage curve have some limitations in analyzing the effects of node voltage to the loads. In this thesis, the Thevenin´s equivalent circuit is adopted to make mathematical analysis on the key nodes, and then the function expressions between impedance angle and node voltage is deduced. In the end, a new analysis method for describing the impacts of various loads to node voltage is proposed. The simulations on the 2-machine 5-bus system and New England 10-machine 39-bus system show that this method can be more particular on describing the alteration trends of node voltage nearby critical points.
