Abstract :
End-to-end real-time optical OFDM symbol synchronization is experimentally demonstrated, for the first time, over directly modulated DFB laser-based 25km SMF IMDD systems. The proposed and demonstrated synchronisation technique offers salient advantages including low complexity, fast tracking speed and high accuracy.
