Abstract :
Development of Virtual Reality in architecture design is relatively slow than in the field of entertainment. One reason of it is because the demand of architect in design is not adequately reflected in the VR application. This article analyzes the current limitations of VR technology in the field of architecture design firstly, and then summarizes three main characteristics of VR application in architecture, including: integration with VR platform and architecture design technology, optimize the convenience of VR technology in design, enhance the VR interactive performance in architecture simulation.
