Abstract
This paper proposes a novel smart-home monitoring system based on MSP430, which implements ZigBee stack to build network and gathers information through the temperature and humidity, methane, smoke, light and infrared sensors. This system satisfies the need for house security in daily life. This paper expounds the hardware design, Software flow chart and test results. According to the measured data, this system has a strong practical value and has advantages of high precision, low power and full coverage.
