  • Abstract
    ADC sampling speed and resolution affect receiver optimization and maximum reach: we discuss the impact on coherent polarization-multiplexed formats. Non-linear effects mitigation techniques based on signal processing, optimized dispersion maps and new fibers are also investigated.
