Abstract :
In display system, various enhancements are important because shooting environment is not always perfect. The viewer can adjust the brightness or contrast easily, but favorite color like skin tone can not be adjusted by remote controller. Therefore, a configurable skin tone adjusting method base on exact skin color region detection is proposed. The system detects skin color in YCgCr and YIQ color space, then filters binary texture and the result is morphological processed, finally converts skin tone to the preferred skin color configured by users in YIQ color space. The real-time skin color adjusting circuit is implemented and some of simulation results are given out.
