Abstract
Cross-layer quality-of-service-aware packet multicasting is investigated for optical packet-switching network fabrics. We present both a numerical simulation exploration of the cross-layer routing algorithms and an experimental demonstration on an optical switching test-bed with 10×10-Gb/s wavelength-striped packets.
