ADAPTIVE: a CAE tool for initial, continuous, and self-education in adaptive signal processing

ADAPTIVE is a highly interactive and visually oriented software package for the design, analysis, and simulation of adaptive filters. Software packages such as ADAPTIVE can be used to introduce new users to adaptive filtering and develop their skills in a manner not possible with text materials alone. ADAPTIVE will also be shown to be useful to the experienced user.
