Abstract

This paper describes the application thinking of MapGIS data center which is used in the management of heterogeneous data in emergency platform, to solve the sharing and exchange of heterogeneous data in emergency platform. MapGIS data center has overcame the obstacles of heterogeneous and distributed data managing mechanism of the emergency platform and established an ideal application environments so that the heterogeneous and distributed advantages of the data can be retained, as well as the users who are sharing more resources and dealing with coordination and cooperation can be provided a consistent user interface and services in order to achieve in a distributed heterogeneous environment on the spatial data and non-spatial data integration more effectively.
