Abstract :
This paper describes an investigation of the effects of static eccentricity on SRM vibration. First we have to calculate the electromagnetic forces distribution based on the virtual work principle associated with the finite element method in order to determine the global forces generated by rotor eccentricity, which increase the radial vibration. Then we study the influence of saturation phenomena. In addition, we investigate the SRM vibratory behaviour by experimental measurement of acceleration
